Iceberg Watchers |

Every year thousands of icebergs can be seen off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. These girls seem to be enjoying this iceberg as it lays temporarily grounded just off the shore.

Partridge Berries | |
Partridge berries can be found on many parts of Newfoundland and Labrador and are picked in the fall of the year by many Newfoundlanders. These were found growing out of the soil between a crack in the rocks and I felt that they made a good subject for a painting

Smiths Harbour Evening |

Smiths Harbour is a small community on the Baie Verte Peninsula of Newfoundland. What
captured my interest in this scene was the contrast of the bright evening light against the strong shadows cast by another building to the right. This contrast provided for a dramatic painting of a peaceful scene

Along the Northern Peninsula | |

| Being from the Northern peninsula, I have traveled along it many times. No matter how many times I make the trip I can always find a new subject to paint. In this painting the setting evening sun provided a warm glow on the rocky shores and driftwood.
